The Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute is the home to the academic programs and faculty practice clinics of the UNMC Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences - a state-of-the-art facility designed to transform ophthalmology in Nebraska for generations to come. It houses both clinical and research services such as outpatient eye care, a children’s eye care center, and a regional diagnostic center with the latest technology that is not readily available in the area. The institute will greatly enhance clinical research and attract top residents and fellows to Nebraska.
