SAP Innovation Centre in Potsdam
Potsdam, Germany
The software group SAP has opened a new Innovation Center in Potsdam on the site of the historic barracks on Jungfernsee (Maidens’ Lake). The new center for computer technologies is to house up to 150 employees. The research teams will be developing innovative software applications based on SAP’s “Hana” database platform. One main focus will be on IT applications in the medical field.
When designing the building, special emphasis was put on creating an open and creative work environment. The lighting solution was realized using M36 surface-mounted and pendant luminaires from Selux in zinc yellow.
