Technopôle Angus Eco-District Revitalization
Montreal, Canada
The Technopôle Angus Eco-District is a landmark urban revitalization project transforming a former industrial brownfield into a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood. Located in Montreal’s Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough, the district brings together workplaces, housing, green infrastructure, and inviting public spaces within a highly sustainable framework. Designed as a walkable, people-focused environment, the project is LEED ND Platinum certified and prioritizes environmental performance, social connectivity, and long-term urban resilience.
Public spaces play a central role in shaping the identity of the eco-district, supporting daily movement, gathering, and community life. Streets, plazas, and pedestrian pathways are designed to feel safe, welcoming, and active after dark, while respecting the project’s broader sustainability goals and minimizing environmental impact.
Selux Olivio Sistema 2 is a natural fit for this setting. Its elegant, organic form complements landscaped areas and contemporary architecture while maintaining a cohesive visual language throughout the district. Olivio Sistema 2 versatility allows it to be used across multiple applications — from pedestrian paths to shared streets and plazas — creating continuity without visual repetition.
With precise optics, glare control, and DarkSky-friendly performance, Olivio Sistema 2 supports both visual comfort and environmental responsibility. Its ability to balance functional illumination with warm, human-scaled light reinforces the Technopôle Angus vision: a thoughtfully lit urban environment where sustainability, design, and community coexist seamlessly.
