Please welcome Julia Aijkens, our new NYC sales representative. She brings a strong foundation in architectural lighting design and has worked in the NYC market for 7 years as a designer and spec sales representative. She has a history of partnering closely with architects and designers to deliver thoughtful, high-performance, solutions across project types and diverse design teams.

Julia holds a Master of Science in Architectural Lighting Design from KTH, Stockholm and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin. Her experience as a lighting designer gives her a unique perspective to balance the creative and technical sides of the built environment and the teams that make lighting possible.

She will partner with Selux NYC Regional Manager, AJ Pualani to support the New York City market.

Julia values the NYC lighting community’s collaborative spirit and strives to encourage the diverse perspectives that drive innovation in the industry. Outside of work, Julia enjoys live music, camping, baking, and crafting. Her favorite way to explore NYC is walking with her dog, Frankie, and hopefully finding a pastry along the way.
