New Life Covenant Church needed space for their quickly growing congregation in the urban setting of the Humboldt Park community of Chicago. They had been worshiping for 12 years in a rented high school auditorium and were desperately needing space of their own. Their new 27,000 square foot worship facility features an auditorium for religious assembly that seats 1,000 people. The site contains an outdoor plaza area at the southeast corner which features Selux Exelia lights.

The Exelia, with its sleek profile and visual comfort, gracefully illuminates the New Life Covenant Church, complementing the River of Life” theme that is carried throughout.

  • A visually comfortable and energy efficient pedestrian pathway luminaire, perfect for a designer in need of a column with no uplight and high performance. Whether you are illuminating pathways, courtyards, entrances or parks, Exelia provides comfort and security, while adding to the beautiful landscape. Exelia offers beautiful, clean lighting with three different possible light engines - Selux proprietary Gen5 silicone optics or Tritec stackable light modules. IES Type II and V distributions are available with IDA-Approved “Dark Sky Friendly” full cutoff distribution.
