Los Angeles Waterfront Project
San Pedro, California

  • project Los Angeles Waterfront Project
  • architect AECOM Design + Planning
  • photographer David Lloyd

The San Pedro Downtown Waterfront project created a new harbor inlet for vessels to dock and approximately 700 linear feet of promenade. Surrounding the inlet is a modern town square, featuring landscaping, lighting and expansive promenades.

Residents and visitors can now enjoy a world-class waterfront experience at the nation’s busiest container port with new parks, a new recreational marina and an artist marketplace. The Selux Corral column is utilized here for its energy efficiency and high visual comfort at critical viewing angles for the many travelers who visit the harbor.

  • Corral® by Selux is a diffuse family of luminaires consisting of columns and bollards. The protective Corral® rings around the diffuse polycarbonate shielding add a decorative feature, and can be selected in a variety of lit section heights. For columns, choose from a straight or tapered pole with an overall height up to 16 feet.
